Teach one or two courses for the University of Memphis, at the graduate level, in the Open-Source Investigative Reporting graduate program.
THIS POSTING IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF AN OPEN POSITION. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department chair when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring and summer.

Minimum Position Qualifications
Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or master’s degree in another discipline with 18 hours of graduate work in the teaching discipline. Previous higher education teaching experience strongly desired.
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and 15 years professional journalism experience may be considered.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investigative journalism practices, including expertise in data journalism and/or visual investigations.
Selected candidates must agree to and pass a criminal background check in order to be employed.
