Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Must be proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media scheduling platforms and proven experience in social media management and content creation.

Special Conditions Work Schedule

Specific days and hours will be discussed at time of interview with selected candidates, but maximum of 20 -25 hours per week will be required.

The University of Memphis School of Public Health is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator and Digital Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Brand Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence and engaging our audience through compelling content across various platforms.

Duties & Responsibilities

Content Creation: Develop engaging and visually appealing social media content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, tailored to our brand voice and target audience. Maintain University Marketing, Communications and PR brand standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Social Media Management: Manage and schedule posts across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube) to ensure consistent brand messaging and audience engagement. Collaborate with University Marketing, Communications and PR as needed.

Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for improving engagement and reach.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Communications team to coordinate campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and objectives. Partner with University Marketing, Communications and PR as needed.

Brand Coordination: Assist in maintaining brand guidelines and consistency as set by University Marketing, Communications and PR across all marketing materials and channels, including digital and print.

Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital marketing strategies to ensure our content remains relevant and innovative.
