Shift : Full-Time, (3 X 12 hrs.) Days, evenings, nights (depending on availability)
Work Location : University of Miami Hospital UTower South Nursing Support Services
- This is not a remote position. This is an in-person position.
- The Remote Patient Attendant - Lead (U) provides leadership and supervision to all Remote Patient Attendants.
- Promotes a level of professionalism, leads by example, and encourages a caring, helpful, and responsive attitude toward patient observation and monitoring of assigned high-risk patients.
- Coordinates and supervises remote video monitoring functions and supports the department as required.
- The Remote Video Monitoring Technician Lead is responsible for the coordination of remote video monitoring services on his / her shifts; promotes cooperation and assures proper communication flow between Remote Patient Attendants and clinical areas.
- The incumbent in this role leads and promotes a secure environment for patients and teammates and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification and Licensing :
Valid State of Florida LPN license
Certification in relevant specialty or field
Experience :
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
