Job Summary:
To provide confidential, high-level administrative support in the office of the vice chancellor. To work collaboratively with other members of the department to proactively address organizational needs. To communicate with high-level management, boards, and committees as needed.

Bachelor's degree with five (5) years related experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities
- Receives and responds to specialized correspondence. Reads and analyzes incoming correspondence and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
- Compiles and analyzes various types of complex information for inclusion in reports and/or presentations using graphical software, spreadsheets, and/or presentation software.
- Answers telephones and resolves complex caller needs within broadly-defined guidelines and without managerial oversight.
- Supervises departmental clerical staff and ensures completion of assigned tasks.
- Works directly with the Vice Chancellor on special projects.
