Department Summary
The Inn at Ole Miss is an 146 room hotel located on the campus of the University of Mississippi. Th Front Office is currently seeking a part time Shuttle Driver to transport guests to and from the hotel to the downtown square.

Role Summary
Operates institutional vehicles which transport packages, material, and / or personnel in a pick up and delivery capacity to support university transportation needs.
Shuttle Driver for Monday through Thursday 5-11 p.m. The shuttle driver will provide complementary transportation to our guests to and from the downtown square. The shuttle driver is responsible for transporting passengers to and from The Inn at Ole Miss to the downtown square, in a timely, courteous and professional manner.
The shuttle runs on demand; therefore, guests will come to the lobby of the hotel and if the shuttle is our front, they will simply get on and the driver will take them to the square. The shuttle driver will give them a card with the hotel's number to call and will come back to the square to pick them up at designated locations.
Examples of Work Performed
The shuttle driver will report to work at 5 p.m. and run the shuttle until 10 : 45 p.m. The start of the shift the driver will inspect the van, cleaning our trash and making sure the shuttle has gas. If the shuttle needs gas, the driver will take to a designated location on campus and fuel the shuttle. The driver will record the mileage at the beginning of the shift as well as the end. The driver is expected to be on the shuttle and available when guests are ready to utilize the shuttle. At the end of the shift, the driver is expected to make sure lights are turned off and doors are locked. Keys should be secured in the back office.
Essential Functions
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
1. Transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points per specified schedules.
2. Drives University vehicles to transport materials.
3. Identifies and reports damaged equipment and products to the appropriate entities.
Minimum Education / Experience
Education : High School or Equivalent
Experience : (2) Two Years Experience
Preferred Qualifications
Valid Driver's License
