Position Details
The Ole Miss Athletics Marketing and Fan Experience Department strives to innovatively boost the overall brand of Ole Miss Athletics, as well as enhance the in-game experience at competitions for its fans, student-athletes, community, and corporate partners. This paid internship will give Ole Miss students hands-on experience in the intercollegiate athletics industry.
Role Summary
- Work closely with full-time staff, graduate assistants, to develop and execute initiatives to further heighten the excitement centering around Ole Miss Athletics.
- Executing game day set-up and game day responsibilities at the direction of their marketing department supervisor, with a potential of weekly office hours.
- Office tasks can include, but are not limited to : Promotional item development and execution, attendance at administrative meetings, etc.
- Distribute marketing collateral (posters, schedule cards, etc.) to assigned locations seasonally.
- Work special events including but not limited to : Square Jam, Grove Bowl, Mississippi Day, etc.
- Fulfill sponsored elements throughout game day from on-court contests, giveaways, or other exposure.
- Assist with Rebel Rewards fulfillment to fans, including prize distribution and answering of fan questions..
