What are the responsibilities and job description for the Postdoctoral Researcher position at The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center?
Overview: This postdoctoral project will explore the impact of spreading depolarizations on memory processes using a combination of in vivo optogenetics, fiber photometry, and electrophysiology in behaving mice. Our lab (www.boyceneurolab.com) is looking to recruit a recently graduated or soon to graduate PhD with expertise in neurophysiological recordings in behaving rodents who is excited to work in a collaborative environment. Experience in hippocampal neurobiology a bonus!
Salary – UNM hires at the NIH rate dependent on experience (Full-time, 40 hr/week) benefits
Start date – late summer or early fall 2025
