Position Summary :
The College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office is seeking a highly motivated and professional Academic Coordinator committed to providing both internal and external professional and expedient customer service. This position will manage the Dean’s Office front desk activities and accurately coordinate the paperwork process required for the various units within the College. This person will also be providing support for the college’s development office activities.
The Academics Coordinator will play a significant role in supporting the units in our College and our efforts as our workloads and responsibilities increase due to the continuous expansion of the centralized services provided by the Dean’s Office. We are looking for a personable self-starter who enjoys working with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students. This person will serve as the primary backup for a variety of activities and tasks including TA / GA / RA assistantships and Student Academic Scholarships.
The Academics Coordinator will be responsible for providing internal support to the Dean’s office staff regarding activities such as logging, tracking, processing and maintaining the routing queues for faculty and staff HR employment documents, as well as ordering of office supplies. This person will also be responsible for managing the various College listservs and their communication requests.

Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
