Position Summary
Performs a variety of routine day-to-day operations related to ledger entries, account reconciliations, and other accounting and office duties.
Duties and Responsibilities :
1. Journal entry preparation and entry
2. Preparation of spreadsheets for financial analysis
3. Data entry into Banner
4. Running Queries for reports
5. Printing My reports and queries for reports
6. Ensures strict confidentiality of financial records, in compliance with federal and state privacy legislation
7. Follows established department policies, procedures, and objectives
8. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MS Office, including PowerPoint and proficiency in Excel and Word
- Basic Data entry and / or word processing skills
- Financial Experience
- Previous accounting experience preferred
- Experience with general ledger accounting Software, Banner, and / or Hyperion
