The University Of New Mexico College Of Nursing (CON) is seeking a Program Coordinator for Clinical Placements that is goal-oriented, resourceful, and self-motivated. The Program Coordinator will support the clinical placement needs of nursing learners. This position is essential to helping advance the CON’s mission of improving access to healthcare for all New Mexicans. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills for clinical placements, internal and external outreach to community partners and data analysis and reporting. Must be detail orientated and have the ability to maintain confidentiality while working closely with students, faculty and community clinical partners.
Primary Responsibilities include :
- Maintain student files, clinical evaluations, professional documentation, and other pertinent clinical documents for all student cohorts including immunization records and necessary certifications
- Communicate and collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and community partners in-person, via email and phone; ensuring timely responses
- Plan and coordinate student and faculty credentialing for clinical sites
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures
Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
