Assessment & Learning produces complex performance examinations for medical students. The Training Specialist contributes to this mission by training Standardized Patients (individuals from the community) to portray clinical cases for medical students to demonstrate patient communication and physical examination skills. In addition to possessing excellent training skills, the successful candidate must be able to plan, schedule, recruit, interview, develop training materials, and evaluate outcomes. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to adapt to the unexpected and to collaborate effectively with other Assessment & Learning team members. Finalists should be prepared to provide official educational transcripts if selected for hire.
Conditions of Employment Minimum Qualifications
Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
