Position Summary | The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) School of Nursing invites applications for a Statistician/Biostatistician. This is a non-tenure track, renewable academic year faculty appointment anticipated to begin in Fall 2025. The successful candidate will provide expert consultation in research design, analysis, and grant writing, with the expectation of teaching statistics and measurement courses and content on advanced research methods within the School of Nursing's programs, particularly the PhD program. Responsibilities include offering consultation for student projects and dissertations. Candidates should have a proven record of publications, grant activity, and interdisciplinary research collaborations, with teaching experience at the graduate level strongly desired. We seek an organized and detail-oriented individual with strong oral, written, and visual communication skills who thrives in a team-based, time-sensitive environment. The ideal candidate will take a collaborative, consultative approach to their work, fostering professional relationships across the School of Nursing and the broader research network at UNCG. As a high research activity university, UNCG offers a dynamic environment for collaboration with a vibrant community of scientists and scholars conducting innovative research aimed at improving healthcare services and individual and population health across the lifespan and continuum of care.
