The department has 22 full-time faculty, over 350 undergraduate majors, and approximately 100 graduate students in MEd, MS, and Ph.D. programs. The childcare program is a part of the School of Health and Human Services and provides opportunities for interdisciplinary research and preparation of early childhood education teachers. The program enrolls over 50 children ages 3 months to 5 years from the Greensboro community and uses an observation-based curriculum.
