This position is responsible for organizing, coordinating and performing clerical and administrative functions following established standards and procedures.
Duties :
- Greets guests and assists / directs to proper individual in the Graduate College.
- Answers phones, handles incoming and outgoing mail, and parking validation.
- Assumes day‐to‐day responsibility for organizing and coordinating specialized clerical functions.
- Answers questions, provides information and handles complaints for internal and external customers.
- Reviews billing from contractors and vendors, adjusts as needed.
- Establishes and maintains filing systems including confidential documents.
- Plans and coordinates special projects including GREAT, Convocation, Winter and Spring Events.
- Schedules appointments and works with students on their travel arrangements.
- Collects and disseminates information for internal and external customers.
- Assists Business Manager with tuition waiver entry and tracking, monthly reconciliations, and post doc tracking.
- Submits service unit requests, vouchers, and purchase orders for all accounts payable related activities.
- Assists the Postdoc Association & Graduate Student Association with planning logistics for monthly meetings
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
