Job Description Summary
The role of this position is to provide administrative and clerical support to this office (including faculty / staff / administration / students).
Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Provide overall research support to the department / center / senior leader including : drafting various communications and correspondence, travel arrangements, answering phones and directing phone / fax / email inquiries, distributing mail, photocopying, scanning, hand deliveries, and express shipping.
- Calendar Management
- Assist with managing the website and internal communication e.g., newsletter
- Processing financial transactions including : travel reimbursements, payments to vendors, purchases and check processing
- Obtaining CME Code approval for the weekly / monthly Tumor Board Meeting. Sending weekly / monthly Tumor Board Meeting reminders with cases attached. Maintaining CME credits / disclosures.
- Assist with publications, bio sketches, CV updates and dossiers for reappointments and promotions. Maintain confidential materials.
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, mass mailings, creation of purchase orders, payment facilitation and other logistic
- Responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
