Financial Assistant and Office Manager
Are you highly organized with a knack for finance and office management? The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Assistant & Office Manager to join our dynamic Office of Experiential Learning in Student Affairs
Salary: $35,000-$39,000/year
Responsibilities:
- Manage student club finances, including budgeting, transactions, and reporting
- Provide administrative support to the office, handling scheduling, correspondence, and other office duties
- Work closely with faculty, staff, and students to support experiential learning initiatives
- Ensure timely and accurate financial record-keeping for student organizations
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in financial management or bookkeeping (preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service/frontline student service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- (Bachelor's degree in a business or financial adjacent area preferred)

Provides daily support in the execution of an assigned program, section, or special interest group and implements procedures, processes, services, and systems to support program workflow. Evaluates and monitors projects, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and advises staff on program policies. Creates program communications, coordinates data and manages program databases, and assists in developing program evaluations.
- Keep club accounts up to date.
- Knowledge of budgeting policies to assist clubs and organizations.
- Interact with students, staff and visitors who enter the Office of Student Activities.
- Update the Student Activities’ Web site with events and programs being sponsored by the office.
- Perform administrative services for the Director of Student Activities such as returning calls, scheduling appointments, etc.
- Assist with a wide array of student activities programs and events, i.e. sell Pitt football tickets, conduct sign ups for events, buses home program, etc.
The functions are usually performed sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching, lifting, walking, carrying, and other movement may be required. Tasks such as cutting, labeling, taping, and working at a computer keyboard or typewriter involve extensive wrist and hand movements. All individuals are required to be able to perform these movements without significant risk of injury to themselves or others, or to otherwise demonstrate or explain how they can perform the essential functions listed above or identified in the job description.
