Nursing Administrative Assistant and Clinical Placement Manager
The nursing program's administrative assistant and clinical placement manager - communicates clinical needs with students; and oversees clearances and the clinical placements for the nursing students. The individual requires training to access and input student information into clinical agency placement systems. This information is critical to ensure uninterrupted clinical hours are completed as required by the state board of nursing. In addition, this position manages the day-to-day operations of the program and manages incoming students' schedules.
Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.
Collaborate with clinical partners to manage clinical operations, including student clinical placements. Manage scheduling for incoming students. Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, read and interpret written communication; write/type data into paper and electronic files; communicate verbally in person and on the phone; lift and carry files or materials of at least 10 lbs.
