PiNTs Visiting Scholar
GSC PiNTs Scholar:
The duties will include continuing to write, and conducting research related to your writing, serving as a cultural ambassador in our community by giving a small number of readings and attending COA events, and instructional and educational responsibilities in support of Global Studies programs for Pitt Students, K-12 educators, and members of the Pittsburgh community, to be determined in consultation with the Director of GSC. We also encourage you to be involved in Pitt’s community programming throughout the year.
- Educational Background: Ph.D. or equivalent professional experience in their field.
- Research Experience: An established record of publications, research contributions, or academic projects.
- Book Writing Requirement: The scholar must have a clear book project that aligns with their academic expertise and must present a research plan.
- Reputation & Impact: Recognition within their academic community, including prior collaborations, citations, and institutional affiliations.
