What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research (Professional) position at The University of Pittsburgh?
Research (Professional)
- Conducts research assessments/procedures independently, including obtaining vital signs and brief medical histories.
- Recruits, screens, and enrolls research participants. Follows up with study participants to schedule appointments and maintain study retention.
- Reviews participants/patient medical records, collects and codes surveys, and verifies active status for participants.
- Enters data, maintains, and updates databases for registry assessments and clinical trial forms.
- Attends relevant meetings.
An associate's degree is required for this position and a bachelor's degree is preferred.
