The Department of Communication Science and Disorders, in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences prepares graduate students for licensure and certification in the professions of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Through our 5th-ranked Speech-Language Pathology and 6th-ranked Audiology programs, our students actively participate in clinical fieldwork—serving patients from newborns to the elderly. This position serves a critical role in ensuring that students have documentation of clinical skill development across the scope of practice in order to meet program accreditation and professional licensure and certification.

Job Summary
Oversees instructional support for assigned clinical courses and on-site instructional events. Provides high-level administrative support to programs and coordinates a variety of logistical aspects. Serves as a point of contact regarding clinical skills and experiences and ensures compliance with regulations.
Essential functions for the CSD Student Data Manager are as follows:
Manage documentation and data relating to clinical education activities for graduate students, assuring compliance with program accreditation, certification, and licensure requirements
Provide administrative support to clinical education milestone events
Organize, track, and maintain electronic records and summaries of student clinical practice logs
Verify and manage student records and documentation in compliance with PA Department of Education standards
Manage distribution and collection of electronic surveys and data from on-campus and off-campus clinical instructors and students
Prepare, analyze, distribute, and archive summary reports
Schedule, conduct, and manage student clinical requirement checkout process
Professional written and oral communication with students, faculty, and community clinical partners
Manage web-based applications for data collection and storage of student data
Willingness to learn new data base technologies
Acute attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
Confidential management of student data and records
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor, as necessary
Develop detailed knowledge of relevant standards for accreditation and certification (American Speech-Language Hearing Association and PA Dept of Education)

Little physical effort is required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
