Duties include Performs routine event set-ups and custodial duties to ensure areas within the Athletic Department are prepared for both athletic and outside events and the facilities are well maintained. Must be able to work in a team environment with different individuals. This is a fast paced environment with a need for proactive attitude and good customer service skills. Must possess knowledge of light custodial and janitorial duties. Regular and reliable attendance is an expectation.
Duties may include set-up and take-down of equipment for athletic and special events and may be required to move, lift, carry and / or arrange furniture, equipment, and other objects as needed. The duties also include but not limited to; clean and sanitize restrooms, collect and remove refuse from offices and buildings, dusting, mopping, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, waxing, scrubbing, polishing and snow removal from sidewalks and stairs.
Qualifications : Ability to work at heights, and include but not limited to bending / stooping, pushing / pulling, balance, climbing, squatting / sitting, twisting, grasping, and crawling. Reach at various levels from floor to overhead. Ability to move / manipulate / carry up to 50 lbs.
