The Department of Nursing at the University of South Dakota (USD) is seeking applications for a full-time nursing faculty member at the Vermillion campus. USD Nursing is part of the USD School of Health Sciences, which includes nine programs offering a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree in Vermillion and Sioux Falls, an RN-BSN program, an online MSN and DNP program, and a Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia in Sioux Falls. The School of Health Sciences and the USD / Sanford School of Medicine form the Division of Health Affairs. USD is a comprehensive liberal arts state institution with approximately 10,000 students.
This is a 9-month, full-time position that provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and development of future nurses in a supportive and dynamic academic environment. Salary and rank will be based on experience and credentials. The faculty member will be responsible for providing classroom and clinical instruction, planning, implementing, and evaluating student learning, working collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to service activities within the department.
