Job Summary
Maintains all automotive and mechanical equipment in operating condition.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Commercial Class D Driver's License.

Job Summary
Maintains all automotive and mechanical equipment in operating condition.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Services, performs preventative maintenance, and repairs all campus vehicles, and the maintenance equipment to include tractors, backhoes, trucks, mowers, forklifts, electric carts.
- Keeps vehicles and equipment in excellent condition mechanically and clean in appearance at all times.
- Rebuilds vehicles and fabricates parts when needed.
- Repairs other mechanical devices on campus such as pumps, compressors, and compactors and performs other related duties as assigned.

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
