The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is looking for vibrant,

success. This is a new position, which is an exempt, 12-month, full-time, non-tenure track staff role that
provides an exciting opportunity to be a part of the College of Arts and Sciences.

The Position :
As a member of the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) Advising Services staff, the College
Recruiter will serve the College's departments and interdisciplinary programs in identifying, recruiting, and
enrolling top quality candidates from local and regional schools.
Responsibilities
Comprehensive job responsibilities :
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of recruitment trends, as well as the latest strategies and tools of the
trade needed to effectively reach target audiences,
manner that reflects its missions and strategic plan,
effective interpersonal skills to ensure that the student is confident about their decision regardless
of outcome for the University,
prospective students and their families,
communicate with potential students.
Further specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
events for the College,
potential undergraduate candidates,
materials, presentations, and electronic messaging to inform and engage prospective students
and families,
and the community
recruitment email

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess :
Word, Excel, Student Information Systems, Degree Audits, Internet / online resources, etc.
