Job Description
The Haslam College of Business (HCB) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, invites applications for a Marketing & Events Coordinator (Full-time, Non-exempt) in the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (ACEI). ACEI conducts multiple programs across campus in support of entrepreneurship and innovation. ACEI maintains two venues-the Anderson Center in the Haslam Business Building and the ACEI Business Accelerator in the UT Incubator-outfitted to encourage collaboration among student startup businesses. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position is responsible for being part of a team that provides social media and content development, various written communications, database management, and event coordination.
Responsibilities
- Social Media & Content Development
Discover the latest social media trends and create high-quality, strategic, tailored and trending social media content for each platform. Coordinate those involved in any content and then film, edit and schedule the content.
Write blogs and evergreen articles that can be repurposed for the website and social media content on a regular basis.
Collect and input data on each event that the Anderson Center hosts.
Assist in planning ACEI events including pre-event and post-event promotion.
