The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance occasionally has openings for part-time temporary adjunct positions. Applying for a part-time teaching appointment in Theatre Arts and Dance would add the applicant to a pool that is available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises for the 2024-2025 academic year. These appointments will be part-time and with no guarantee of renewal. In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Teach one or more courses in Theatre Arts and / or Dance such as Acting, Dance Appreciation, Introduction to Theatre, Playwriting & New Play Development, Theatre History, Theatre Design, Stage Management, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip-Hop, or Choreography. Required Qualifications : MFA or PhD in a Theatre, Dance, or related field. Preferred Qualifications : Experience teaching undergraduate students in theatre and dance.
