Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant will support members of the special education evaluation team with administrative tasks and responsibilities. The position will assist with scheduling, sending out ratings scales, sending documents through DocuSign, uploading documents into the data management system and any other clerical duties as assigned.
Major Responsibilities/Duties/Critical Tasks
- Responsible for scheduling ARD and 504 meetings.
- Responsible for uploading signed documents from DocuSign to the special education data Management System.
- Responsible for distributing Teacher Input forms.
- Distributes Ratings Scales to parents and teachers.
- Communicates with teachers and parents.
- Distributes completed ARD Paperwork out for signatures.
- Assists in monitoring timelines.
- Responsible for filing paperwork as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of related work experience.
Preferred Education/Experience
- One or more years of experience working in a special education clerical role.
Accompanying Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies
- Proficient in the use of DocuSign, Success Ed, Google Sheets, QGlobal, QInteractive.
- Proficient in the use of Skyward.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of operating office equipment.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Ethical, able to maintain confidentiality.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
