Job Description :
The Brown lab at Harvard Medical School is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our team, starting in the spring of next year.
The successful candidate will study cilia-related mechanisms, with the specific project tailored to the candidate’s expertise and training needs. Projects generally fall into two areas : (1) elucidating fundamental mechanisms of ciliary motility and (2) understanding the establishment and regulation of ciliary signaling pathways. Applicants should hold (or will shortly be awarded) a PhD degree and must have an established publication record. Applicants with prior experience in structural biology (specifically cryo-EM and / or cryo-ET), cell biology, or in vitro reconstitution will be preferred. Prior experience working in the cilia field is not required but could be beneficial. Excellent communication skills are essential.
