Job Description
In this role you would be responsible for the worldwide development, execution and management of clinical programs across numerous therapeutic areas and phases of development.
Responsibilities
Oversee the pre-clinical and clinical development of various therapeutic degrader programs.
Lead the creation of clinical strategies and plans to move the companies’ therapeutic compounds into clinical trials for pain, inflammatory diseases, oncology, and other conditions.
Prepare the clinical documents required for trial execution and manage regulatory strategies and communication with the FDA.
Supervise the analysis and interpretation of clinical trial data and the reporting of results.
Take on leadership duties for the company’s subsidiary, serving as General Manager.
Hire, lead, and mentor the clinical development team.
Required Skills
MD with Board Certification in anesthesiology, rheumatology, or oncology, with a preference for anesthesiologists experienced in pain medicine development.
Several years of clinical practice experience treating patients, along with biopharma industry experience working on investigational new drugs.
Extensive experience in clinical development, including managing clinical and medical affairs teams.
Strong knowledge of FDA / ICH regulations and guidelines, with critical experience in interacting with FDA personnel.
In-depth expertise in science-driven, data-based drug development.
A proven track record of success in clinical trial design and IND submissions.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English with excellent communication skills, capable of clearly presenting the company’s clinical and regulatory strategies and progress to diverse audiences, including the CEO, Board of Directors, employees, and investors.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills; an effective team player who fosters confidence and credibility both within the company and externally.
