Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Oncologist / Hematologist located in Galveston, TX at The University of Texas Medical Branch. The Medical Oncologist / Hematologist will be responsible for leading oncology patient care, developing treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and conducting research and clinical trials in the field of oncology.
Qualifications
- Oncology patient care, treatment planning, and clinical trial management
- Board certification in Medical Oncology / Hematology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in an academic or research environment preferred
- MD or DO degree with residency training in Medical Oncology / Hematology
- Active state medical license in Texas or ability to obtain one
