Job Summary :
The Director of Marketing & Community Engagement will support the Associate Athletic Director of Revenue Generation and Fan Engagement in the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position will promote the Tulsa brand in an effort to increase attendance, generate revenue, and coordinate further outreach in the Tulsa Community.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities) :
Marketing :
- The Director will be primarily responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans for men’s and women’s basketball and select Olympic sports as assigned.
- Creation of promotional plans to drive attendance and fan engagement at events.
- Establish effective on-campus marketing efforts aimed at increasing student attendance.
- Develop and maintain a strong student internship program.
- Coordinate with the Director of Ticket Sales on promotional nights that drive attendance.
- Coordinate with the Director of Fan Experience to ensure promotional themes are executed on a game-to-game and seasonal basis.
