The level of appointment will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and level of achievement. Appointment at the associate professor level will be considered for applicants with a proven track record as an independent researcher with demonstrated success in acquiring external research funds and mentoring graduate students, along with a growing national reputation. Appointment at the full professor level will be considered for applicants with a distinguished record of research achievement and publication, numerous Ph.D. graduates, and an established international reputation as a researcher. The applicant selected will be seated in the college’s department that is determined to be the best match in terms of teaching and research interests, or a joint appointment in more than one department, in consultation with the dean of the college.
