Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Graduate Admissions performs complex and diverse duties related to the Graduate School and works closely with the Dean. The Director of Graduate Admissions is responsible for overseeing all activities related to recruitment and admissions, facilitating communications between faculty and students regarding recruitment, admissions, and financial aid, and supervising Slate operations.

The Director of Graduate Admissions is responsible for overseeing all activities related to recruitment and admissions, facilitating communications between faculty and students regarding recruitment, admissions, and financial aid, and supervising Slate operations.
DUTIES
- Develops recruiting goals in conjunction with departments and deans
- Develops and executes on strategic plans for realizing recruiting targets
- Supervises the Graduate Communications Coordinator and Graduate Operations Coordinator
- Manages relationships with EAB and other external vendors
- Oversees Slate operations
- Requests and analyzes reports run through Slate
- Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Marketing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with people from academically, culturally, and economically diverse backgrounds
- Ability to use good judgment and make sound decisions, use discretion, and maintain highly confidential information
- Ability to accept a high degree of responsibility and work well under pressure in a detail-oriented environment, while handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
- Ability to use tact and discretion with University personnel, students, and individuals
- Work requires working with highly sensitive or confidential information and occasional overnight travel may occu
