We have multiple units at Helen Porter, and you can apply to any of them through this application. Below, you will find more information about the units. Currently, we have openings for:

- Part time
- Per diem on Long Term Care and Memory Care only.
Helen Porter has accommodations for 98 people, is licensed by the state of Vermont, and certified by Medicare and Medicaid. As a skilled and intermediate care residence, we focus on providing a comfortable environment.
Long Term Care Unit
Our Long Term Care Unit provides nursing care and assistance with daily living activities, along with programs and activities tailored to residents' abilities and needs. This unit continues our 30-year tradition of delivering high-quality long-term care services.
Memory Care Unit
The Memory Care Unit is designed to meet the changing needs of individuals with dementia symptoms and increasing cognitive loss. Our early-stage program offers activity-based care in a warm, supportive, and safe environment, focusing on maintaining dignity, purpose, and functional ability.
Post Acute Care - RN Positions
The Post Acute Unit at Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Nursing provides supportive, goal-directed care following surgery and/or hospitalization. Specially designed treatment programs enable patients to return home as quickly as possible. We strive to help patients reach their highest possible level of independence.
Routine Therapy services are provided Monday through Friday. We also offer extended therapy sessions six days a week if needed to maximize positive results. Nursing staff provide necessary support when therapy staff are not present.
