The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team at The Alice Center - Skilled Nursing Facility. As a CNA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents by assisting with activities of daily living and monitoring their condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Provide mobility support and assist with transfers to prevent falls or injuries
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff
- Observe residents' physical and emotional conditions and notify the nursing team of any changes
Required Skills and Qualifications: Active New York State Nurse Aide Certification; High School diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a CNA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is preferred.
