Emergency Nursing Career Opportunity:
The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking a skilled Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our 11-bed unit.
About the Role:
- Assess and manage patients' medical conditions, developing effective care plans to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and conduct diagnostic tests as required.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to healthcare standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- 1 year of Med/Surg experience, preferably in Critical Care.
- Active ACLS and PALS certifications; TNCC encouraged but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain calm composure in emergency situations.
