The Environmental Services team at Porter Medical Center is hiring an Evening Supervisor to join their leadership team!
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Environmental Service Supervisor has the primary responsibility for supervising housekeeping activities. He / She is responsible for insuring safety and sanitation throughout the facility. Maintaining quality control functions and compliance with Town, State and OSHA Federal Register Rules and Regulations, Porter Medical Center Infection Control policies and procedures, and Housekeeping, Laundry Department policies and procedures. He / She is expected to work collaboratively with department manager, support staff and other department employees as required.
EDUCATION
High graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of institutional housekeeping techniques with at least three years of experience, supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies.
Ability to maintain accurate record-keeping and documentation.
Ability to maintain confidentially and good public relations.
Demostrates ability to provide clear expectations to department personnel.
Displays professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to work with management members
