Comprehensive Care for Our Residents
We are seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team at The Alice Center - Skilled Nursing Facility. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential care and support to residents under the supervision of licensed nurses.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Provide mobility support using proper techniques and equipment to help residents with transfers and prevent falls or injuries
- Monitor vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate, and report any significant changes to the nursing staff
- Observe residents' physical and emotional conditions and promptly notify the nursing team of any changes in behavior, mobility, or health status
Education and Qualifications: Active New York State Nurse Aide Certification; High School diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a CNA, especially in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting, is preferred.
Salary and Benefits: We offer competitive pay rates, shift differentials, and a sign-on bonus of $4,000 for full-time CNA positions. Subject to applicable taxes, the bonus is paid over 1 year with a 12-month commitment.
