What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant I position at The University of Vermont Health Network?
** 16 hours a week Tues-TH 8-4:30 **
This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certification required within six months of hire.
EXPERIENCE:
Initial entry level trainee period mandatory (3-6 months) for candidate with no experience.Experience providing or assisting in direct patient care preferred.
