What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Epic Application Analyst Staff position at The University of Vermont Health Network?
This role is specifically supporting Home Health and Hospice for Epic Dorothy/Comfort. Primarily remote based, on-site as needed, hybrid role.
The Network Epic Application Analyst provides support and maintenance of the software used in business and clinical processes. The individual is responsible for developing expertise in the use of the electronic health record. Responsibilities include working with end-users, vendors and internal Information Services technical staff supporting business/clinical processes, and facilitating cohesive integration of software applications from vendor with business and clinical operations. The Network Epic Application Analyst must provide support coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The ability and means to regularly travel throughout the UVM Health Network is required. Shift coverage and on-call coverage may be required.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or formal technical training or equivalent experience. Epic certification required or achieved within 120 days of hire with a maximum of three attempts.
EXPERIENCE: 3 or more years
This role includes multiple levels. The hiring team reserves the right to determine appropriate level placement of our final candidate. Level and salary upon hiring are commensurate with years of relevant experience previously obtained Epic Certification(s).
