What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner-MG/Physician Assistant-MG - ENT position at The University of Vermont Health Network?
Primary: 8:00am-4:30pm; Secondary: 7:30am-4:00pm
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Advanced Practice Provider works under the general supervision of the Office Manager and medical supervision of the physician(s) to provide excellent medical care completing the duties and responsibilities of the position while complying with HIPAA and CVPH confidentiality policies. They are responsible to provide health care services as licensed professionals working within their defined scope of practice. This position requires regular use of independent judgment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Skills Required:
1. Completion of physician assistant/nurse practitioner education program approved by the American Medical Association.
2. Current license as a Registered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State
3. Current or eligible for NYS DEA license
4. AHA-BLS/ACLS certification is required or current non-AHA-BLS/ACLS card will be honored up to date of renewal.
5. Clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in Otolaryngology specialty area is preferred.
As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
Salary : $62 - $65
