Our dynamic team of talented physical therapists provides hands-on, one-to-one clinical care. Their responsibilities include managing orthopedic patients of all ages to advance healing, minimize disability, and enhance quality of life.
We focus on functional rehab and performance by collaborating with orthopedic referral sources, especially in the area of total joint replacements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans tailored to their functional limitations.
- Apply therapeutic techniques skillfully to address patient treatment needs.
- Develop trusted relationships with referring providers, contributing to marketing and community outreach efforts.
- Ensure well-run clinical operations by completing necessary documentation and billing in a quality manner.
- Manage caseload effectively.
- Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate proficient patient care, including willingness to provide care at multiple rehab therapy sites as needed.
- Stay current with trends and practices in therapeutic evaluation and treatment, supporting evidence-based practice.
- Participate in clinical staff education, meetings, and quality improvement programs for patient care and staff development projects.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Supervise physical therapy students to develop their clinical skills and ensure delivery of quality patient care.
- Comply with all pertinent rules and regulations within the State Practice Act and the American Physical Therapy Association's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's of Science (or higher) degree from an Accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Vermont.
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience ideal; will consider new graduates with strong orthopedic clinical experience.
- Experience treating patients with total joint replacements preferred.
