As a Licensed Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients under the supervision of licensed nurses.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant in a healthcare setting and demonstrate the ability to perform basic nursing care skills. A high school graduate or equivalent with successful completion of a 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation program is also required.
Responsibilities include providing care to assigned patients in accordance with Nursing Department policies, standards of practice, and physician orders. You will promote communication of patient status, changes in condition, and patient needs with the licensed nurse. Additionally, you will function within Nursing Department and CVMC/WDR policies and procedures.
