What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Sitter - Med/Surg position at The University of Vermont Health Network?
Provides basic physiologic and psychosocial care, together with safety measures and environmental care, for mentally ill patients in an in-patient setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Documents every 15 minutes on patient condition, and communicates immediately to nursing or medical personnel any change in patient condition.
