Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and conducting medically prescribed Physical Therapy programs, restoring function in patients and promoting optimal recovery.
The successful candidate will plan personalized therapy programs for each patient, direct and aid in implementing these plans, and evaluate and record progress. They will also supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, Students, and Volunteers, ensuring the highest standards of care within the Physical Therapy Department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement individualized Physical Therapy programs for patients.
- Evaluate and record patient progress, identifying areas for improvement.
- Supervise and train Physical Therapy Assistants, Students, and Volunteers.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on patient progress and department functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
