Job Description
The Audiology Assistant provides direct patient care and acts as a support person for the Audiologists. Direct patient care involves providing patients support with their hearing aids, completing minor hearing aid repairs and reprogramming hearing aids, as indicated. Support for the audiologists includes ordering/tracking and processing hearing aids/repairs, scheduling, and general/clerical work as required.
Education
High School graduate. Pursuit of audiology assistant certification or hearing aid dispensing license preferable. CPR certification required.
Experience
Some experience in the medical setting is preferred. Experience working with the elderly, differently abled or children required.
