Job Summary
Performs the clinical duties of an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) while managing other APP personnel. Provides leadership to APP in clinical, research, educational, consultative and legislative arenas in accordance with the mission and vision of the Department and UVMMC. Administration of a minimum 0.2 FTE (prorated in unique circumstances) allocated to support this function.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree recommended.
- 5 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely both verbally and in writing with individuals and groups at various levels and various disciplines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and management experience preferred.
- Demonstrates self-awareness and an ability for self-direction and initiation.
- Maintain knowledge base of area of clinical specialty and supervisory skills.
- Knowledge of system and organizational policies, bylaws and credentialing requirements.
- Currently licensed as a PA-C or an APRN-BC/APRN-C in the State of Vermont.
- National Certification from approved certifying body.
- Additional certifications must be maintained in accordance with applicable departmental requirements.
