Job Description
Provides outpatient care to patients in various states of health or illness for department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Practices medicine within their scope of practice based on their education, training and experience under the scope of practice developed with their physician group. Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals using guidelines agreed upon by physicians.
Education
Successful completion of PA educational program at an institution accredited by ARC-PA (Accreditation and Review Commission on Education for the PA.) Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred. Current NCCPA Board Certification required and active licensure to practice as PA by the VT Board of Medical Practice.

Registered nurse who has successfully completed formal education program approved by the Vermont Board of Nursing, or state or national accrediting agency which prepares nurses to function in advanced nursing practice. Must also be certified by national certifying agency recognized by the Vermont State Board of Nursing.
Qualifications
Education/Skills Required:
3 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner; or Nurse Practitioner with minimum of five years RN experience.

Clinic hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
