Job Description
The Surgical COA is responsible for performing multiple duties within the clinical setting all intended to facilitate the smooth operation of a medical office and related surgical/procedural activities. Duties include coordinating patient appointments, surgeries and/or other procedures, and ancillary testing, providing academic support and/or transcription support, and acting as an interface between surgeons and patients.
Education
H.S. Diploma with or equivalent college coursework in the secretarial or medical sciences preferred.
Experience
Must have 2 years experience in a clerical setting, preferably in a medical environment. Demonstrated customer service experience.
SIGN ON BONUS: $2,000 for external applicants.
