The UVM Medical Center Sleep Program is a division of the Department of Neurological Sciences at the UVM Medical Center and Larner College of Medicine at UVM . We seek to recruit a full-time BC / BE, fellowship-trained Sleep Medicine Physician (MD / DO) to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team. We welcome applicants from all specialties that support Sleep Medicine training and Sleep board certification. Primary responsibilities include :
- Evaluation and management of all manner of sleep disorders, and interpretation of sleep studies.
- Teaching fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Collaboration with advanced practice providers.
- Contribution to educational efforts including journal club, case and topical presentations, etc.
- Interest in sleep medicine research is a bonus.
Our growing team includes Sleep Medicine Physicians with backgrounds in pulmonology (pediatric and adult) and neurology and four nurse practitioners. We also have a robust behavioral sleep program with two doctoral-level Sleep Psychologists. The appointment is to our Clinical Scholar Pathway. It is a joint appointment with the University of Vermont Medical Group and the University and offers a robust benefit package including tuition remission at UVM for qualified students.
